Step inside this dreamy, vintage-themed tea party baby shower, styled by my sweet friends at LA Event Designs and captured by the oh-so-talented Irina Bodnar Photography
Earlier this spring, I had the honor of designing a custom baby shower invitation for one of my sweet friends, and I'm excited to finally share a glimpse of the gorgeous event!
Invitations always set the tone for an event, so a custom design was a must for this ladylike affair. The inspiration for the design, which you can view here, came from the mother-to-be's love of vintage and afternoon high tea.
The event decor featured a palette of dusty pinks, lavenders and creams, enlivened by pops of gleaming gold. The table was layered with multiple tablecloths, vases, candles, glasses and, of course, a carefully curated collection of vintage teacup and china sets. Bountiful floral arrangements covered almost every surface, including a whimsical backdrop with "Amalliya" spelled out in wild flowers.
I could barely contain my delight when I saw that all guests were given floral crowns to wear throughout the afternoon. From the pearl-covered cupcakes to the so-beautiful-you-can't-bring-yourself-to-eat-them macarons to the tea display, every detail was so fitting and so well thought out – I think it's safe to say it was one of the dreamiest showers I've ever had the pleasure of attending.
And don't even get me started on the stunning mother-to-be!
