Finally found some time to refresh our home decor and wanted to share the updates with you all! What a difference a few delightful details make, am I right?
It's been a while since I shared bits and pieces of our little town home, and as a result, my homemaking skills – much like my cooking skills – have slacked off quite a bit.
Okay, let's be honest: Our place has been a complete mess the past few months.
Considering just how much I currently have on my plate ( things like gutting, redesigning and rebuilding a house), there are days where I feel I pretty much deserve an award for simply getting out of my pajamas into something more fitting for a grown woman.
Please tell me you can relate...
This weekend I finally found the time to refresh our home decor and, of course, wanted to share the updates with you all (because we all know that it didn't happen unless there's proof!) Despite most of our efforts being put into our 1930 bungalow, there is something to be said for maximizing the here and the now and making your current living situation as pleasant as possible! What a difference a few delightful details make, wouldn't you agree?
If you have any questions about our decor, please let me know! My email is radionova.oksana@gmail.com. Also, if you want to see anything else detailed in a post, simply comment below!
Later this week I just might give you a glimpse of the progress on the bungalow, so get excited, people!

Thanks so much, Lauren! You make it sound way more incredible than it really is! :) It’s a temporary rental, after all, so I didn’t want to be wasteful, since I’ll have an entirely new house to decorate in a few months, once we finish renovating the bungalow. Now THAT will be a fun decorating project! XO
Oh my gosh!!! Every detail looks perfect! I am sure it has seemed overwhelming but it looks fantastic to me! Great job.

Thanks so much, Kate! This is actually our current rental where we live while renovating the bungalow… I just got incredibly tired of always saying, “Why spend money on this rental, when we’re moving out within the next couple of months anyway?” So I decided to improve the space as much as I could without being wasteful.
Thank you for reading and sharing your thoughts!
Ummm when can I move in?? Everything looks absolutely amazing; I’m obsessed with how you used pops of gold in virtually every room. Looks so classic!

So much style inspo!! These are gorgeous photos, so I can only imagine how lovely your place is in real life!

Aww, thank you so much, Ashley! It’s definitely nothing fancy; it’s a temporary rental, after all. I am, however, excited about decorating the bungalow once we finally finish the renovation!
So many pretty details! You have amazing style. I can’t wait to see more.
Your bedroom is so simple and pretty, I love it! I also love the gold MR and MRS.

Thanks so much, Savannah! You can view a complete tour of the bedroom, if you’d like!
The MR & MRS letters were part of our wedding decor – except in a bold fuchsia to match the color palette. Afterwards, I sprayed them gold and now use them as decor around the house. :)
I love the bright, crisp look for your decor! It’s so feminine and gorgeous. Nice job!
Thank you so much! I’m definitely looking forward to adding some masculine pieces and setting a more sophisticated overall tone once we finish and move into the bungalow! XO
Love your style! Everything looks stunning, clean, and feminine!

Hi Wendy, Thanks so much for your sweet words! Did you catch the post on how I’ve updated the place for the holidays? XO
These details are lovely.
Do those silver candle holders happen to be from Target? I love jar candles or tea lights in antique punch bowl glasses …or maybe in mercury glass candle holders, but thought I should pick up one of them to use as a container. I wonder if they still sell them…
Yes, the silver candle holders are indeed from Target! I bought them on major clearance a few years ago, so I’m not sure if you’d be able to find something similar… I’ve contemplated spray-painting them antique gold, just can’t seem to ever get around to it!
I love it all! Makes me want to do a refresh in my home. Scratch that. Makes me want YOU to refresh my home LOL. Love your styling!

All those pops are colors are fabulous!! Love your styling and I want those magenta pumps!! :)
Thank you so very much, Cristen! Sending major hugs and positive vibes your way!
The magenta pumps are Jessica Simpson; magenta was our wedding color, and I bought them to wear with my wedding dress a few years ago! I think you’d be able to find something similar if you search for Jessica Simpson suede round-toe pumps… :)
I love your color palette! Come decorate my house please!
