Cannes, France was the first stop on our 12-day Mediterranean cruise, photos of which I am just now getting to editing and posting on the blog.
Three months into our European adventure, and I have yet to get a hang of balancing blogging and traveling. Besides the film festival, this sun-drenched beauty is also known for its luxurious resorts and tranquil beaches. The city is really more of a charming town, except for the haute couture boutiques and lavish cafes that line the Boulevard de la Croisette.
If you know me, you know that I absolutely adore the concept of “playing dress up” and am quite obsessed with the correlation between what we wear and how it makes us feel. Channeling my inner globe-trotting starlet, I opted for this Crank Up the Lace blue skirt that I first wore in Budapest, pairing it with a tangerine red, breezy chiffon top. When worn correctly, no material implies feminine elegance like lace. Combined with a lightweight material like silk or chiffon, it makes me feel oh-so-pretty and carefree.
Stay tuned for the full Cannes Photo Diary.
