I apologize for the brief hiatus on the blog – I’m desperately trying to find balance between the bungalow remodel, my full-time job, the occasional freelance project and life in general – heavy emphasis on the word “trying.”

A couple of months have passed since the last time I shared a design project spotlight with you all, but the minute I began working with Amanda Miller from The Miller Affect on a custom designed media kit for her blog, I instantly knew this would be a project I’d share.

Amanda launched The Miller Affect at the end of 2014 with a focus on affordable and attainable fashion. Although her blog’s focus isn’t necessarily on business attire, she posts lots of fun, out-of-the-box office outfits – a pleasant discovery, seeing how I spend nine hours of every day in a corporate setting.

Amanda first approached me after discovering the FOXY OXIE Shop on Etsy. Despite having already worked with many major brands across the country, Amanda did not have a media kit – a fact that hindered possible brand collaborations and campaigns. Amanda wanted a custom, professionally designed kit to highlight The Miller Affect’s playfulness and creativity and help potential blog sponsored fall in love with her brand.

Designing The Miller Affect media kit has been a labor of love, and I’m ecstatic to finally share the end results with you. Not to toot my own horn, but last I heard, Amanda had sent the media kit to a major brand, and they told her it was the best media kit they had ever seen!
