Perhaps you've noticed the lack of updates on the FOXY OXIE blog and Instagram lately.

One of the main reasons for my hiatus is a few very exciting design projects I've picked up lately. Between that, my day job, the FOXY OXIE Shop, and this thing called life, the blog has suffered a bit. 

My most recent project was helping the lovely McCall Dulkys, owner of Saule Boutique, update the landing page of her virtual storefront. Saule, meaning sun in Lithuanian, is an online women's clothing and accessories boutique with the mission of empowering women one outfit at a time. 

McCall first approached me after an exchange on The September Issue, a private Facebook group of bloggers and small business owners that we are both a part of. She wanted to rebrand her landing page to make more of an impression in the market and to reflect her brand's playful and creative character – something the old design was lacking. 

The biggest design challenge we ran into was Shopify's restrictive nature and lack of flexibility in terms of design, but with a little creative manipulating of the platform we were able to develop a look McCall loved. 

Designing the Saule Boutique landing page has been such a labor of love, and it's so exciting to finally share the outcome with you. Let me know what you think of the new look!
