PÜR Cosmetics Eye Polish Review

PÜR Cosmetics Eye Polish Review

Had you been one of the few unfortunate souls who saw my face a mere few days ago – red and swollen from having all four of my wisdom teeth removed – you would understand why I had to wait a few days before finally publishing this beauty review.

Needless to say, due to the excruciating pain that accompanies said wisdom tooth extraction, I was heavily medicated, and thus the likelihood of me getting anything done was, let's face it, nonexistent.

Literally, my daily schedule for what feels like forever but has only been four days has been sleep, rinse, repeat – punctuated by the occasional clutching of my gigantic cheeks, tears streaming down my face, asking humanity why – just, why? – until less than five seconds later I, once again, fell asleep.

But that is neither here, nor there, so let's talk makeup, shall we?

Have you ever been oh-so-excited to purchase the latest and greatest eyeshadow palette of, say, 10 various shades – only to end up using two? If you're like me, and you possess three or more of the previously mentioned, nearly untouched palettes, then A.) You just don't learn, do you?, and B.) This PÜR Cosmetics eye polish review is going to change your life.

If their delicious names like "Silk," "Caviar" and "Suede" aren't enough to seduce you into running full speed to the nearest ULTA or, more conveniently, ULTA.com, to grab some of these magic potions for yourself, then let me just tell you what you're missing.

Available in six absolutely perfect and universally appealing shades, these little pots of metallic goodness prep, prime and add pure pigmented color to your lids. Unlike creamy shadows that tend to crease throughout the course of the day, the PÜR Cosmetics eye polishes are formulated with a long-lasting base, so you can wear them alone for a luminous sheen, layered for a bolder look, or as a top coat with your favorite eye shadows.

Even the application of the product was well thought out, as these eye polishes come with a flat, pointed, smudge-resistant silicone applicator that glides the liquid texture across your lids with incredible precision and ease. Within seconds the liquid transforms into a powdery texture, practically begging you to apply another layer. The application process alone is so mesmerizing that, lo and behold, you may or may not but probably will show up to work with a full-on glam metallic eye look.

It truly is that addicting, so consider yourself warned.

If you want to give one (or all six) of these shades a whirl, head over to ULTA.com, where, for a limited time only you can receive a FREE sample Big Look Mascara with any $25 PÜR Cosmetics purchase.

I'll be over here, likely applying more layers as I wait patiently for you to tell me which shade is your favorite.

  1. I just tried these last night at Ulta and fell in love! They are a great way to play with shimmer (if you’re a matte shadow field like me) but still keep things toned down. But they’re also made for metallic lovers! You can do so many things with them! What I love doing is layering on Satin first, then putting my matte shadows on top, but leaving the center ball of the eye shiny. It looks so good!

I just bought Satin and Cashmere today, because I loved it so much yesterday that I couldn’t wait!

Also, right now (Nov. 20 and 21), all Pur Cosmetics products are 25% off at Ulta. I got the polishes for $19.50. Great deal!
