Got a whole lot more nonsense where that came from… 😅 I ordered the sheers and another pair of velvet curtains and still looking for the perfect rug – but I'm loving this more traditional direction the dining room is heading. I got a DM the other day how it's amazing I'm able to make so many design decisions every day – and so quickly at that! If my curtains drama is any indication, that observation couldn't be farther from the truth! I am the most indecisive person EVER when it comes to furnishing my own house – and there's a whole lot of trial and error involved in literally every decision I make. I had all these frantic plans of crossing a million things off my to-do list today but Lord have mercy I am so tired of my life being dictated by to-do lists. So I sit here – feeling all the feelings. I've been feeling so many things lately and like I am being pulled in a million directions. But the biggest pull of all is my growing and overwhelming desire for simplicity. In a culture (and a season!) that is bombarding us with 100 messages a minute of "DO THIS!" it is so liberating to learn to say no. Ephesians 5:15-17: "So, then, be careful how you live.
