In my quest to finalize all details for the Greystone House, I’ve been doing a lot of online shopping. I have quite the gift for finding affordable duplicates of designer pieces – I’ve even dedicated an entire blog post to how I find the best deals on home decor and furniture.
It’s quite the process to design and choose all the finishes for a full-house remodel, like we’ve done with the Edgmond Ranch, Greenfield Remodel, and now the Greystone House. When you consider budget restrictions, well, it’s no wonder I’ve spent the last three years shopping, ha!
Today I’m sharing my favorite (affordable!) brass sconces.
Sconces are usually associated with kitchens and bathrooms, but they can work in many scenarios: on either side of the bed, above built-in bookcases, down a hallway, flanking artwork or a mirror, above the fireplace, above open shelving – the list goes on and on. I’ve even used sconces are ceiling lights in the Strelkov Bungalow hallway! The point is, sconces are versatile.
I’ve tried to include a variety of styles, and I honestly like every option. Best part? They are all under $60! In fact, most are under $40! Let me know if you end up ordering any of my recommendations. I’d love to see photos of them in your space!
