We’re selling our house, the Greenfield Remodel! See photos, read personal reflections, and find out what’s next for us!
Before I delve into personal reflections, let me give you the general information on the Greenfield Remodel.
Built in 1999 and completely renovated in 2021, the Greenfield house has 2268 square feet, with 4 bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms, an office, a formal dining room, a large master ensuite, attached 2-car garage, partially fenced 0.40-acre flat lot. It’s located in an established, high-end neighborhood on a quiet and beautiful cul-de-sac, right in the heart of town with close proximity to all the necessary amenities like grocery stores, freeway access, restaurants, great schools, etc. The list price is $429,900.

Personal Reflections
I don’t know why it was so terrifying to hit publish on this post. After all, the Greenfield Remodel is just another investment property we remodeled and are now putting on the market. The only difference is that we’re also living here. Just a minor detail, right?
This house has been so good to us, but we never intended to stay here long-term. So, it’s time for the next chapter.
Now, the question on everyone’s mind: What’s the next chapter? – to which I don’t have an answer. This is both terrifying and exhilarating.
As long as my family is with me on this adventure, though, the change is more exhilarating than terrifying. After all, this wouldn’t be the first time we do something unconventional. While most people marry and settle down, we got married, sold off our belongings, and quit our corporate jobs to travel Europe. Though most people pine after building a dream home, we bought a shack off Craigslist and built our dream life in it. While most people strive for financial stability, we chose the path of financial freedom by way of real estate investing.
Life is far too short for complacency, mundanity, for settling down, for trying to fit society’s definition of success!
What’s Next?
Who really knows what we’ll do next? What I do know is that it’ll be an adventure – and I hope you’ll stick around to see it unfold. One thing I’m especially excited to explore is how our faith can be an even bigger part of our day-to-day life.
“So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.” 2 Corinthians 4:18
We do want to take the summer off from actively doing any projects and travel a bit. No concrete plans yet, but our travel plans are always spontaneous. Three options we’re currently exploring are 1) Mexico, 2) a road trip up the West coast, and 3) Alaska.
Don’t worry, though, FOXYOXIE.com isn’t going anywhere. Between the Greystone House, the Greenfield Remodel and our rental properties, I have enough design content for several years, ha! Everything from budget breakdowns, renovating guides, room reveals, and more – buckle down, I have so much helpful information to share with you!
Let me know what specific topics are of most interest to you, so I can prioritize. Would you also like to see any upcoming travels? Let me know, and I’ll be sure to share more of those on the blog and not just Instagram.
I can’t wait to hear your thoughts on our upcoming adventures! In the meantime, catch up with some of our latest investment properties, below. Oh, and be sure to sign up for the FOXY OXIE newsletter to be the first notified when new articles are published.
