Aesthetically-Pleasing, Beautiful Gardening Tools: A Roundup

Oksana | FOXYOXIE.com — Thu, 02 Mar 2023 06:35:04 +0000

Earlier this week the girls and I started more seeds in containers. We’re hoping by next week – once it finally stops raining for a bit – we can start sowing directly in our garden.

While the going has been a bit slow – it’s not like there’s a full-house renovation requiring all of our attention and finances – I am excited to make even the smallest steps towards my gardening dreams.

Freestanding Tubs Smaller Than 55 Inches: Roundup

Oksana | FOXYOXIE.com — Sat, 04 Feb 2023 05:16:00 +0000

Our latest purchase for the Sunrise Remodel is a freestanding tub for the master bathroom! I’m so excited to get back into my nightly routine of baths – you have no idea…

Any other bath lovers out there?

The most common sizes for freestanding tubs are 60″ and 55″. The first is the most universally appealing; the latter is generally preferred by remodelers with smaller bathrooms.

We have some people out of town this week, so no remodeling progress will be made at the house. At first I was a bit sad to realize that our timeline is shifting by yet another week.

Oksana | FOXYOXIE.com — Wed, 09 Nov 2022 04:59:46 +0000

Every fall I – along with every other living, breathing woman on the planet – set out to make our homes extra comfortable for the cold months ahead.

I’m not a big seasonal decorator, but I can’t resist the allure of lighting some festive candles and settling down with a good book and cup of coffee, a faux fur blanket wrapped around me.

Roundup: Single Bathroom Vanities Under $800

Oksana | FOXYOXIE.com — Thu, 29 Sep 2022 15:22:21 +0000

Prices on single bathroom vanities have changed drastically in the past couple years – much like with everything else, I suppose. I remember a time when it was wild to find one over $1000, and now that seems to be the standard, especially if you want real stone for the top.

When sourcing vanities for the Cape Cod Rental, it was a challenge to find anything nice below that $1000 mark.

Decor I Bought for Staging the Greystone House

Oksana | FOXYOXIE.com — Fri, 02 Sep 2022 20:37:24 +0000

Remember when I gave myself a $200 budget to update my decor inventory?

I have quite the collection of decor and staging accessories, which I use when selling our investment properties. My collection also comes in handy when I want to update our own home – or at least when we had a home, ha! But when time came to stage the Greystone House, I realized my collection was due for an update.

Oksana | FOXYOXIE.com — Wed, 29 Jun 2022 19:04:42 +0000

Sharing a quick makeover I did on a thrifted $0.40 vase. Plus, update your space with my sculptural, Nordic vase roundup!

Did I need another vase? No, I most definitely did not.

After all, we’re selling our house. As a result, I’m decluttering. So going thrifting definitely felt counterintuitive. But I did it, so here we are. Don’t judge me. Or do – I don’t care.

Can you believe I’ve been waiting to hang these Howard Elliott mirrors for an entire year?!

It’s true – I’ve been saving these “Dante” mirrors since May 2021, patiently waiting for the Greystone master ensuite remodel to be completed.

Remodeling your kitchen? I’m sharing my favorite gray kitchen backsplash tile options under $10, along with some personal stories!

The other day an Instagram follower asked if I had gray kitchen backsplash tile recommendations that would look good with Luna Pearl granite.

Luna Pearl is the granite we installed at our Edgmon Ranch project, seen above. This reminder sent me on a walk down memory lane, and I’d like to share some of those memories with you.
